Calming smoothie recipe

This recipe is a very refreshing and calming recipe we love making. This recipe for us is all about "me time". We love taking 15 minutes to stop and focus on our inner peace while enjoying this drink. 

Lavender is known for it's calming effect and we love how it's flavour makes everything taste more unique. Lavender works very well with citrus, that is why we added a bit of lemon to the recipe. 

 

Ingredients:

  • 250 ml coconut milk
  • 1/2  banana
  • 1 tsp. dried lavender
  • 1 tsp. chia seed
  • 1 tsp fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 scoop (30g) Essablend protein
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • Handful of blueberries or any mixed berries you like

 

Method:



Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until you get a smooth consistency.
