Protein Tiramisu Recipe – A Mindful Twist on an Italian Classic

Ingredients

  • 3 rice cakes
  • 1 serving of coffee (decaf if preferred)
  • 150 g Greek yogurt or plant-based yogurt
  • 1/2 scoop Essablend Vegan Protein (Vanilla or Salted Caramel flavour)
  • Cocoa powder for dusting
  • Cinnamon to taste

 

Method

1. Prepare the coffee and allow it to cool slightly.

2. Mix the yogurt and Essablend Vegan Protein until smooth and creamy.

Extra tip: If the yogurt and protein mixture becomes too thick, don't worry! Simply add a splash of plant-based or regular milk and stir until you achieve a smooth, silky consistency. This will make layering easier and give your tiramisu an even creamier texture.

3. Dip the rice cakes into the coffee and place them at the bottom of a plate, bowl, or serving glass.

4. Spoon a layer of the protein cream over the rice cakes.

5. Repeat the layers until all ingredients have been used.

6. Dust the top with cocoa powder and a pinch of cinnamon.

7. If you have time, refrigerate for 15–20 minutes to allow the flavours to develop even further.
