Vanessa behind "The Vanessa"
Vanessa is a Hungarian supermodel known for her outstanding career. She has worked with some of the world's most prestigious luxury brands including Prada, Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Donna Karan and Calvin Klein. She started her career at the age of 14 and has since been seen on the catwalks of all the major brands.
Vanessa Axente has made her health a priority thanks to her modelling career, which is why she has created Essa World vitamin and plant protein powder with the help of experts. Vanessa believes that we can maintain our best shape with the right care. Essa's high-content collagen, protein and immune-boosting vitamins are designed to help you shine in your everyday life.
Behind a successful woman is a supportive female community. Vanessa is strengthened and complemented by Nimisha Gupta, who currently lives in London, working on creative and strategic projects. In 2021, she founded her own business strategy consultancy agency, Nimisha Inc. For the past 7 years, she has worked in the creative department of Italian fashion house Ermenegildo Zegna.
Why do we need collagen?
The collagen in our skin is responsible for its elasticity and freshness. This protein is also synthesised naturally in our bodies, but as we age, this process slows down and then stops altogether. As this happens, we may notice the appearance of crow's feet, wrinkles and a loss of skin firmness. Collagen also plays an important role in maintaining bone density, joint mobility and cartilage health.
In addition to collagen, hyaluronic acid is also found in the organs responsible for movement, in the skin, lymph and blood, and is the molecule responsible for their structural integrity.
Vitamin C has been added to stimulate the body's natural collagen production. The added vitamin E helps to protect cells against oxidative stress, i.e. reduces the amount of harmful free radicals in the body. Free radicals also contribute to accelerating the ageing process.

Where did the idea of "The Vanessa" Collagen Cocktail come from?
The idea for the cocktail was born from a conversation between two friends in the corner of the Kupola Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest, and grew into a full project. They wanted a cocktail that looked like a classic, was more refreshing than an alcohol-free one, while also having a nice twist.
Topped with pink grapefruit, this drink is a real energy bomb for the body and soul that will make more than just your skin glow!
The cocktail is now available in the hotel's cosy Kaffee Wien café.
