Homemade Protein Bar

The best part? No baking required! This quick and highly nutritious recipe is an ideal choice for a pre- or post-workout snack, or even a revitalizing afternoon pick-me-up. Give it a try and embark on a journey of homemade protein bar goodness!

Ingredients:

½ cup of chia seeds

½ cup of pumpkin seeds

½ cup of linseeds

½ cup of shredded coconut

½ cup of puffed brown rice

½ cup of puffed amaranth

1 handful of chopped brazil nuts

15 medium sized medjool dates chopped

200g of tahini

6 tbsp of coconut oil

5 tbsp of glycine

1tbsp of Essablend Vanilla Vegan Protein

2 handful of coconut chips

Directions:

  1. Mix well all the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  2. Transfer the mixture to a pan covered with baking paper and press firmly into an even layer, smoothing the top as much as possible (opt for approximetly 3-5 cm thickness). Add coconut chips to the top.
  3. Cover with baking paper and place in the freezer to chill until firm (about 20 minutes in the freezer) or leave it in the fridge overnight to get the best texture. Slice it into 15-20 equal-sized rectangular bars.
