Healthy Berry Crumble with Collagen and Protein

This wholesome crumble is perfect as a healthy dessert or a nutrient-rich breakfast to fuel your day! 🫐🥣✨

Ingredients

Berry Base:

Crumble Topping:

  • 180g rolled oats
  • 1.5–2 scoops Essa World vegan protein (vanilla flavor)
  • 2 heaped tbsp runny nut butter (almond, peanut, or cashew)
  • Optional - 1 heaped tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp flaxseeds
  • 1-2 tbsp walnuts crushed to smaller pieces
  • 1,5 tbsp coconut flakes
  • Pinch of salt
  • 0,5 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil

 

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 160°C (fan).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine all the crumble ingredients, including the Essablend protein powder, and mix until you get a sticky, textured consistency.
  3. Spread the frozen berries in a baking dish, sprinkle over the chia seeds and collagen powder, and add a touch of sweetener if desired.
  4. Evenly distribute the crumble topping over the berries.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, until the top is golden and crisp.
  6. Serve warm with a generous dollop of yogurt.
