Green smoothie recipe

I know what your reaction might be when you first hear green smoothie. Ugh! No, thank you. At least that was my first reaction until I convinced myself to try it. If this is your first time trying a green smoothie, trust me, you will love it. 

I always make this recipe for my friends as an "introduction" because it only has a few ingredients and very little greens. It’s delicious and nutritious at the same time. Perfect for breakfast or as a post workout fuel. The best part is that it takes less than 5 minutes to make so it is the easiest “meal” to make. 


  • 300ml of almond milk
  • 1 cup of frozen mangoes
  • A handful of spinach
  • Big pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of flaxseeds
  • 30g Essablend vegan protein
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until you get a smooth consistency.
