Choco spice protein granola

  • 200g rolled oats
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon Dutch cocoa powder
  • ½ scoop Essablend Choco spice protein
  • 20g shredded coconut
  • 40g extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • A small handful of peanuts or your favorite nuts/seeds



  1. Preheat the oven to 165°C.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, a pinch of sea salt, Dutch cocoa powder, Essablend protein, shredded coconut, and nuts/seeds.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the olive oil with honey, then pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture. Thoroughly combine the dry and wet ingredients.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Ensure it's not too thick to achieve a crunchy texture.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until the granola is golden brown and crispy. Occasionally flip the mixture to ensure even baking.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool.
