Vanilla protein granola

A perfect choice in the morning that can make your breakfast yogurt, oatmeal, or smoothie bowl irresistibly delicious. It contains ingredients full of vitamins and minerals that will supply you with energy.

Ingredients:

  • 200g large oat flakes
  • 15 grams chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 20g shredded coconut
  • 4-5 chopped dried dates
  • 1/2 scoop Essa World vanilla protein
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 40 grams extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 scoop honey
  • Hazelnuts or your favorite nuts

 

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 165 degrees Celsius.
  2. In a bowl, mix oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, protein, dates, nuts, sea salt, and shredded coconut. These ingredients are high in fiber and minerals, contributing to good digestion and balanced bodily functions. Dates serve not only as a natural sweetener but are also rich in antioxidants and fiber, supporting healthy bowel movements.
  3. Add extra virgin olive oil, vanilla extract, and honey. Olive oil provides healthy fats to our granola, while honey imparts natural sweetness and is rich in antioxidants.
  4. Thoroughly mix the dry and wet ingredients.
  5. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then bake at 165 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes. Halfway through the baking time, stir the granola to ensure even crispiness.
  6. Allow it to cool to let the granola dry and become crispy.

Store in an airtight container or box.
